Pyhaejaervi's Callio is requesting bids for an independent 5G stand alone private network as part of the FutureMINE - future digital test mining project (Business Finland).
The project will establish a 5G SA private network in the Pyhaesalmi mine located in the city of Pyhaejaervi. The goal of the project is kbuild the world's best test mine that meets the requirements of automatic traffic in Pyhaejaervi's Callio business area.
In the Pyhaejaervi Callion FutureMINE test mine project, the Pyhaesalmi mine is developed into a digital test mine of the future, which can influence the electrification of the entire mining industryand digitalization in Finland and also internationally.
The mining industry is moving towards a more digital and electronic future. In the future, genuine underground mining test environments will be needed, where those involved plan their operating model and develop their testing services togetherworking with companies and where mining industry products and technology are researched, developed and tested in both real and simulated digital development environments.
FutureMINE project (2023 -2025) forms an active innovation and cooperation network between partners and implements tinvestment and development investments according to the age map with regional, national and international companies and project partners.
