• Description:
• The assignment includes the tasks of construction project management, supervision and safety coordinator after the tendering phase of the construction contract. The work site is located in Sipoon Nikkilä and it is part of the implementation of the NG8 Nikkilä manor site plan (https://www.sipoo.fi/kaavoitus-ja-kehittaminen/voimaan-tulleet-asemakaavat/ng-8-nikkilan-kartanon-keskus/). Construction work is scheduled to begin in January-February and continue for about a year. The whole includes the new collector street connection and the underpass of the railway line construction and supervision of the implementation of the bridge and the bridge over the stream. It is an exceptionally demanding construction project in terms of basic conditions and technical implementation. The construction contract includes, and should, schedule-critical work phases including several track breaks, during which certain work phases must be completed. Two 10-day track outages have been agreed, the first of which will be in Easter 2026. Shorter, weekend-long track outages will probably occur during the work. In addition to track breaks, especially the beginning of the project is critical in terms of implementation and requires a strong investment from the bidder. The project management assists the customer in the owner control of the project.
