- Latvaenergia Oy is building a biogas plant in Pyhaennae's circular economy park, where biogas is produced by digesting various biomasses. The biogas plant investment is part of the Resursviisas wastewater treatment project partially financed by the Ministry of the Environment. The facility's processing capacity is max. 20,000t/a different inputs. The inputs consist of by-products and waste from the food industry, agricultural sludge and field biomass. The biogas produced by the facility under construction will be used for the energy needs of the nearby industrial area. The project includes a biogas plant, biomethane processing lawtoksen, gas transmission pipeline and earth and construction technical works as a KVR contract and implemented in accordance with the warranty values.
