- The procurement concerns the procurement of the services of a developer consultant for the joint procurement of the Viinikankatu underground road connection and the extension of the P-Hamp underground parking facility, which is implemented as a joint procurement of the City of Tampere and Finnpark Parkisto Oy.
The road connection serves as a smooth entrance to the city center from the south and east and creates the conditions for the development of a wider underground street network. The plans for the drive-in of the road from the surface of the earth to the rock are mostly ready. The road connection starts from Viinikankatu next to the Atalpa building and runs below the foundations of the Kaleva crossing bridge. The route continues underground below the grounds of Tampere Hall, Akerlundinkatu and from there below the railway area and Rautatinkatu, where the extension of the parking facility is located. The road connection will be implemented simultaneously with the extension of P-Hamp. Both solutions will implement the approved center in 2022 underground site plan. Plans at the level of a project plan have been drawn up for the entirety of the joint procurement before the planning phase, which is now being procured. The request for tender concerns project management, supervision, cost accounting and tasks of the project coordinator according to the request for tender.
