- Central Finland's welfare area (hereinafter also the Procurement Unit) has acquired a mechanized dose distribution service for medicines from the Hankasalmi pharmacy. The procurement contract is about to expire on 31 May 2026. The procurement unit has tendered the procurement (tender number 606011). In order to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of the service during the transition period before the start of the service of the new contracting party, the procurement unit has decided to continue the current contract for the mechanized dose distribution service of medicines under the current contract conditions With Hankasalmi pharmacy for the period June 1, 2026-September 30, 2026. This is a temporary extension of the contract for the duration of the transition period. The Act on Public Procurement and Right-of-Use Agreements (1397/2016) § 136, subsection 2, point 2 applies to the procurement. For contracts the change to be made is of minor value as intended by Section 136 of the Procurement Act, and the change to be made has no effect on the general nature of the contracts. The maximum value of the change according to § 136, i.e. 50 percent of the combined total value of the original contracts. The anticipated total value of the contract change without value added tax is approximately EUR 15,500 for the period June 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026. The extension of the contract is negotiated with the contract service provider producing the service mentioned above.
