- The employment area of Lantinen Pirkanmaa, which started its operations on 01.01.2025, operates in its own area as a labor authority, which is responsible for the procurement and provision of employment-promoting services and related expert evaluations to its individual customers. Services are acquired based on the law and, if necessary, supplementing as non-statutory services according to the customers' service needs. The city of Sastamala acts as the responsible municipality, the other municipalities in the employment area are Hameenkyroe, Ikaalinen, Parkano, Kihnioe and Punkalaidun. The city of Sastamala requests a bid for the organization of the Employment Services Act (380/2023) on providing workforce training in accordance with § 61 in the employment area of Lantinen Pirkanmaa. The goal is to complete license/qualification training and get a job quickly. The trainings start all year round on a non-stop basis, either in group format or more typically as individual starts. The total value of the procurement, including possible option periods, falls below the national threshold value (small procurement). The contract period is one year and a 12-month option period can be included in the procurement contract. The estimate of the annual number of training implementations is 10. For personal customers in the employment area based on needs, the implementation amount may remain lower or rise higher.
