Description:
The Finnish Quantum Computing Infrastructure (FiQCI) consortium comprises Aalto University, CSC-IT Center for science, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland (“VTT”). FiQCI will establish a stand-alone superconducting quantum computer based on the existing 20-qubit chip procured by VTT for previous uses. The computer will be administered jointly by Aalto University and VTT and will be part of national infrastructure for emerging quantum computing in Finland. The computer is made of a superconducting 20-qubit chip manufactured by IQM Finland Oy ("IQM"), its control electronics, and a cryogenic fridge to reach the low temperature needed for the superconductivity and to operate it properly. This call concerns the expression of interest to supply its control electronics, software, and services to deploy them.
