Description:
The object of the acquisition is a tape library for the Finnish Meteorological Institute's archiving system. The tape library is coming to Helsinki's Kumpula. The tape library must be modular and expandable and include tape recorders, tapes, tape slots, software and other the parts necessary for the operation of the library so that data can be transferred to and from the tape library. Regarding the equipment purchase, it is a one-time purchase. The duration of the maintenance and support contract is 60 months.
