- The municipality of Iin, the buyer), will request your offer for the delivery of Pellet in the Pellets silo of Kuivaniemi heating centers in accordance with this invitation to tender and its annexes. The municipality of II operates district heating in the Kuivaniemi area. In Kuivaniemi, the annual energy requirement for district heating in 2022 was approximately 4.1 GWh (sales of customers' energy meter according to readings). District heating is generated for 2 using a pellet plant (1.25 MW and 500 kW) and 1 oil boiler. Both plants have pellet silos with a till approximately 20-25 tons. Pellet heaters are estimated to need about 4,200 to 5,000 MWh of pellets every year. Higher consumption will focus between September and April, but pellet deliveries are also needed at other times of the year.
