- Description:
- The city of Lohja requests your offer for the demolition contract for five buildings in the Paloniemi area. The total area is about 6868 m2! The buildings are mainly made of stone, so the utilization rate can be estimated to be high. Crushed aggregate can be reused used as fill soil / structure in connection with the construction of light traffic lanes, parking areas, etc. Metal, such as pipelines, etc., go to metal recycling. Wood material, if the contractor has no other purpose for it, they will be chopped as fuel. The machines used in the work are required to use biofuels/renewable, which contributes to reducing the carbon footprint created by dismantling. The company that won the competition is obliged to make an ex post calculation of what was accomplished carbon footprint in this project. Actual quantities are used as the basis for the calculation. In the calculation, the carbon footprint of demolition work C1, the carbon footprint created by transportation C2 and the carbon footprint of waste processing C3 must be specified. The customer removes and empties heating and hot water systems. Similarly, disconnect the buildings from the electricity grid. There is no layout plan for the sites, and no demolition work report. They belong to the demolition contractor. Likewise, all the necessary permits must be obtained and all submitted to the authorities documentation belongs to the contractor.
