- CGI Suomi Oy maintains Stara's Integration service, which is implemented on Stara's Microsoft Azure platform. Through the integration service, Stara's different data systems receive or share their data with other data systems or data warehouses. The maintenance of the integration service acquired by the Administrative Director's decision of December 5, 2023 § 5 (HEL 2023-015166) has required more changes than anticipated, due to the large number of technical changes to the Azure platform itself. Regarding changes to the Azure environment several development packages have had to be ordered and implemented every year. For the same reason, additional work has also had to be done on already implemented integrations due to platform changes. These have not been able to be taken into account regarding the acquisition of the integration service when determining the value of the decision. Due to the increased costs, the integration service is to be tendered again by the end of 2028. The purpose of the procurement to be carried out now is to ensure the procurement of the service for the start of the new procurement contract until the end of 2028. According to the relevant decision, the value without value added tax of the contract for the original integration service acquisition is approximately EUR 82,000 for 48 months from time. Therefore, the total value of the original procurement and the additional procurement to be made now for a period of 48 months is 222,000 euros.
