• The municipality of Sodankylä is running a local route development project, which received funding from the JTF fund (Justice Transition Fund) from the Finnish Federation of Lapland. The municipality of Sodankylä is responsible for the implementation of the project, and its implementation period is March 1, 2024-April 30, 2026. Here with the request for tenders, we are looking for the most suitable implementer for the story-telling routes workshop, which is related to the project's route development and nature tourism training. CONTENT OF THE PROCUREMENT: The subject of the procurement is a workshop dealing with story-telling routes planning and implementation on site in Sodankylä. The aim of the workshop is to examine how local stories, history, cultural heritage and the sites of the region can be connected to local routes in a way that strengthens the identity of the region and increases the attraction and holding power. The target group of the workshop is entrepreneurs, other actors and representatives of stakeholders. The content of the workshop should consist of expert introductions and facilitated teamwork and ideation. The focus of the work is joint ideation, where outline the contents of storytelling, possible themes and approaches to support the development of routes. The aim is provide participants with insights and practical tools for utilizing storytelling and strengthen understanding of how routes and services can connect to each other. In addition, the workshop supports networking between operators. The workshop must be organized during weeks 16 and 17 on a date agreed with the customer.
