- The goal of the procurement is to find an innovation partner/innovation partners (hereafter Innovation partner), with whom the goal is to develop a system that digitizes the observation of forest destruction as comprehensively as possible. It is possible to observe forest destruction with different remote sensing methods. Wedduring the implementation phase, the innovation partner develops a system that, using machine learning, learns to interpret forest destruction from satellite images as comprehensively as possible and shares the forest destruction observations as location data to Metsaekeskus. Metsaekeskus is closely involved in the development phase by offering ahis expertise in forest destruction and data interpretation.
