- The object of the procurement is glass scanners intended for diagnostic use for PSHVA's pathology laboratory. The scanners are placed in the staining room of the pathology laboratory, they are used by laboratory nurses trained in the use of the device. Images are stored in Sectra to the PACS archiving system in DICOM format and viewed with Sectra's IDS7 viewer.
The growth forecast for the amount of glass is about 8%/year. About 120,000 glasses of 25 x 75 mm intended for scanning are currently processed per year pcs. There will be around 2,000 pieces of larger 50 x 75 mm macro glasses.
