• The subject of the procurement is a digitization service to convert the analog material in the archives of the Kymenlaakso welfare area into electronic format and use it from the electronic archive system. The goal is to reduce the need for paper archives, improves the usability of the material regardless of location and enhances the information service. In the "project" of this competitive digitization service, the purpose is to digitize the analog material of the patient archive and transfer it to the Subscriber's future electronic archive solution (system to be tendered separately). For the sake of clarity, it is stated that Kymenlaakso's welfare area is running its own separate procurement related to Electronic archiving (SaaS system). It is not yet known at the time of publication of the RFP what is the future electronic archive system of the Kyme welfare area. With this procurement, therefore, an electronic archive solution is not procured, but the subject of the procurement is the digitization services defined in the request for tenders. which will be digitized in the project. In the first phase of the procurement (the project), the plan is to digitize the patient documents permanently stored in the patient archive of the Kymenlaakso welfare area. The material is located in Kotka, on the premises of Kymenlaakso Central Hospital, at Kotkantie 41. There are approx. 80-100 shelf meters of material.
