Terveyportti (www.terveysportti.fi) is a tool for medical information management and www.terveysportti.fi for improving the quality of healthcare, which provides healthcare professionals with extensive, up-to-date, reliable, easily and quickly available information to support patient care. Cost Oy Duodecim (business ID 0558287 1) has made an offer on 12 September 2025 for the Healthport service for the Pirkanmaa welfare area (business ID 3221308 6). Terveyport can also be used by Fimlab Laboratorios Oy (business ID 2392519 6) and Tays Sydankeskus Oy (business ID 2298047 6) and Tekonivelsairaala Coxa Oy (y-identifier 1861209 9). Pirkanmaa's welfare area acquires the Terveyportti service as a direct procurement from Kustannus Oy Duodecim for the year 2026 to the publishing house TKIO/ Koulutus-evot kp 50 422. Direct procurement is possible according to Section 40 of the Procurement Act when, for technical reasons or to protect exclusive rights for a related reason, only a certain supplier can carry out the purchase and there are no reasonable, alternative or substitute solutions. Kustannus Oy Duodecim's Healthport service contains unique content created over a long period of time, which is the medical and nursing work of the Pirkanmaa welfare area essential in clinical and research activities. There is no other service for the Finnish operating environment that is equivalent to the Terveyportti service in terms of content and scope.
