Description:
The city of Raahe is asking for bids for organizing the temporary care of stray dogs found and recovered in the Raahe area. The statutory service is managed as a purchase service and tendered for the contract period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028, after which the contract will continue indefinitely by both sides with a notice period of six (6) months. According to the law, the animal must be kept for at least 15 days, after which it can be handed over or killed. The purchase concerns the keeping of the animal for 15 days. After this, the animal is transferred without a separate agreement to the operator as property. The above-mentioned task has been performed in the Raahe city area as a purchasing service, the contract for which expires at the end of 2025.
