- Tuomi Logistiikka Oy requests bids from market players approved for the Pirkanmaa welfare area's mandate for the dynamic procurement procedure for healthcare imaging and research services (565539) for the internal tendering process for the procurement procedure: Clinical mammary gland examinations and procedures. Clinical examinations and procedures of the mammary gland refer to examinations and procedures that are performed based on the patient's symptoms, previously diagnosed breast cancer or increased risk of breast cancer. The service is produced at its permanent offices in Tampere and/or separately by arrangement elsewhere in Pirkanmaa. The procurement includes the service package "Clinical mammary gland examinations and procedures with opinions", which consists of the following service products:• Mammography examination • Ultrasound examination • Ultrasound-guided needle biopsy • Microscopic examination and pathologist's statement • Biopsy under stereotactic guidance • Ductography In addition, the Service Provider must offer the Subscriber a breast magnetic examination as an optional product. The contract period begins on 01.01.2026 and is valid until further notice. The anticipated volume of procurement is approximately 1,500 examinations/year. Anticipated procurement the volume is calculated based on the 2024 data of the acquired service of the municipalities specified in the service description.
