• 1 Background Mikkeli is Finland's second largest municipality for leisure housing: there are almost 10,000 leisure apartments here. A total of around 50,000 people spend their time in the cabins located in Mikkeli each year for different lengths of time, and leisure housing is for the city an important economic and social resource. In Mikkeli, they want to invest in the development of leisure housing and interaction with the cottagers, it is a strategic choice.2 Description of the procurement We are asking you to make an offer for editorial work to produce the contents of the free-time residents magazine in the spring of 2026. The magazine is a 24-page, 4/4-color, free-time residents magazine that is sent to the home addresses of people who own a vacation home or cottage in Mikkeli in the name of the city of Mikkeli in June 2026. In addition to the city of Mikkeli, a number of companies of the city group participate in the publication of the magazine, each of which receives the amount of space for its native article in the magazine according to its contribution. In addition, the magazine will feature lifestyle content about camping. Magazine implemented as a collaboration between the city of Mikkeli and Mikkeli development company Miksei Oy, the implementation work is coordinated by Miksei Mikkeli's tourism unit.
