Description:
Central Finland's welfare area organizes a tender for electrodes, pastes and printing supplies for a three-year contract period.
The procurement is divided into 6 sub-areas, from which the bidder can choose the sub-areas in which to submit a bid. The sub-areas are:
1. Defibrillation electrodes
2. EMG-electrodit
3. ECG electrodes
4. Other electrodes
5. Media for ultrasound examination
6. Other EKG supplies and printing supplies.
The products included in the procurement are detailed in an excel attachment (Appendix 1 Tender form). Subarea 2 is divided into subgroups A-C, which are dealt with individually. Chapter 2 of the sub-areawithout taking all the products are processed line by line, the bidder does not have to offer all the requested products. Partial offers are allowed. For each line/item, 1-3 suppliers are selected to guarantee delivery reliability. If there is only one accepted offer, the title will be selectedone supplier.
The customer primarily orders the cheapest product. However, the subscriber has the right to choose a product other than the cheapest one, if the patient's special therapeutic needs require it. The body responsible for the patient's care (doctor/nurse) makes an assessment of the matter. The order of priority can be changedalso due to availability or delivery time reasons.
Products included in this procurement can be purchased in small quantities from other suppliers as well if the patient's special needs so require.
