• Paeivystysapu 116117 telephone service connection
Paeivystysapu 116117 is a telephone service focused on advice and guidance for urgent care outside of office hours. The service has been operating since autumn 2017. The service is availablein almost all welfare areas and covers 97% of Finland's residents. Residents can call the toll-free number before applying to the emergency clinic or when they need advice or treatment instructions for an urgent health problem. DigiFinland Oy owns the number 116117 and is responsible for the national serviceprevent development. The welfare areas, the city of Helsinki and the HUS corporation are responsible for providing the service to the residents of their area.
Calls made to the Emergency 116117 phone service are mainly automatically routed to the 0800 number assigned to each welfare area.
