• 1 Background Mikkeli's development company Miksei Oy (MikseiMikkeli) implements the HINEE - Towards carbon-neutral cottages project from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2027. The project is part-financed by the European Union, the authority responsible for the funding is the Southern Savo Provincial Confederation. HINEE project to promote the energy efficiency and carbon neutrality of leisure living in Etelä-Savo, the extension of the stay in camping and the use of local services, and to improve the carbon balance of camping with the help of sharing and circular economy solutions and by increasing the utilization rate.
