Description:
The Espoo urban railway project is part of the development of the capital region's public transport system. In the project, two additional tracks with bridges will be built between Leppavaara and Kauklahti, and six stations will be renovated.
Local and long-distance train traffic is separated on its own tracks, which enables Rantaradana the development of local transport and long-distance transport between Helsinki and Turku.
The procurement entities for the project are the Vaylavirasto, the city of Espoo, Kauniainen city, HSY and Caruna.
The subject of the procurement is the execution of construction works in regional contract 4 of the Espoo urban railway project between Espoo and Kauklahti. Contract includes the construction works of the urban railway and separate sites in the city of Espoo, as well as the water supply works of the Helsinki region's environmental service HSY, the content of which is more precisely defined in the contract documents.
