The headlamp camera is a critical aid in pulmonary endarterectomy surgeries and in the development of that activity. The headlamp camera has approxintended to be used widely also in other heart surgery for teaching use.
In heart surgeries, the surgeon always uses magnifying surgical glasses, and often also a headlamp, which serves as an additional light source for small surgical sites. The headlamp camera must contain a light source with an integrated sharp lensremovable flat camera, which enables the accurate display of the surgeon's surgical view on the operating room monitor and also the recording of the operation.kautus
