Description:
The HUS Group is requesting offers for the test based on the nucleic acid testing of the Norovirus instant diagnostics of the Norovirus, the HUS Diagnostics Center (hereinafter also HUS) and the ISLAB Welfare Group (hereafter Islab).
The offer can be made alternatively either
- from the norovirus test, which is suitable for use in laboratories with the already used Genexpert (cepheid) equipment
The equipment is obtained by renting.
Tests and possible hardware should be CE ivd marked to identify and To distinguish between the GI of the Norovirus genetic group and the GII nucleic acid from the patient's faeces sample.
Norovirus diagnostics are done in the following HUS and Islab units:
HUS Virology Unit, Helsinki
HUS Kymenlaakso Central Hospital clinical microbiology, eagle
HUS South Karelia Central Hospital Clinical microbiology, Lappeenranta
ISLAB Clinical Microbiology Kuopio
ISLAB Clinical Microbiology Joensuu
Islab Clinical Microbiology Mikkeli
Islab Savonlinna
Consumption estimates:
HUS about 6,700 tests per year (2022 - 2024: 6500 - 7400)
Islab about 2,700 tests per year (2022 - 2024: 2400 - 2900)
The Helsinki and Islab units may also be on duty.
The above estimates are based on the implemented of previous years 2022 - 2024 to the amount.
