- The Finnish Meteorological Institute has been selected to produce the European Union Institutions Connection Connection Federated Meteohhydrological Data Infrastructure (FEMDI) for 2026-2028. The Femdi program provides a common Meteogate interface service through which all Tuumnet member organizations can share data for public and private actors throughout Europe. The success of the project is an important goal for the entire European meteorological institutions, as the EU High Value Datassets (HVD) Directive meets. In the framework of the implementation of the Femdi program The plant will subcontract a consulting service for the development of a development project.
