  • Turun Port of Turku Oy is running the Ferry Terminal Turku (FTT) project, which is the main objective of maintaining the port as an attractive shipping base for the future by developing a new passenger terminal and modernizing the quays and implementing the docks extensive reforms of traffic and parking arrangements. The acquisition of the passenger and traffic control system is part of the FTT project.
    Acquisition is subject to a passenger and traffic control system consisting mainly of the SaaS-based passenger and traffic control system and to it related hardware (gates, cameras, scanners, displays, etc.), supply and installation (system implementation phase) and system maintenance and support services after the system implementation (system service phase).
    The aim is to integrate and automate vehicles and passenger check-in and ship-to-board systems at the new passenger terminal of the Port of Turku, where two Ro-Ro-boards can arrive and leave at the same time in less than an hour. Concomitant outputs are to be implemented from one common area of the waiting area, and the check -in processes To implement the most possibly low number of personnel, given that the turn of ships in the port is less than an hour.
