- This purchase concerns the collection, transportation, processing and final disposal service of APC waste from fly ash and flue gas cleaning generated from the operations of the customer's Tarastenjarvi utility power plant. The grate slag produced by Tammervoima is processed at the Tarastenjarvi waste treatment center in Pirkanmaa Jatehas a service organized by uolto Oy and that part of the ash handling services is not included in the scope of this procurement. Different types of metals are screened from the slag, which are delivered to industry for reuse. The remaining mineral fraction is used, for example, in earthworks and cement and concretein essence.
