• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the firewood needed by the Armored Brigade in different training areas during the years 2026 - 2028. The flaps must be stove-ready firewood suitable for stove use. The procurement refers to the quality standard SFS-EN ISO 17225-5:2021 Fixed biofuels. It is estimated that approximately 300 - 1,000 loose cubic meters of firewood will be procured/year/practice area. The number of firewood to be ordered is affected by the number of exercises and the weather. The amount presented by the procurement unit is a non-binding estimate, which may be lower. All sub-areas include an additional procurement reserve of 20% of the estimated bulk cubic meter quantities. Firewood is delivered based on separate orders from the Armored Brigade by tipping the pallet in front of the warehouse. If requested separately, the supplier will deliver firewood on three covered pallets or containers to Hätilä's training area, from where the customer moves the pallets or containers to the required location. Covered pallets or containers are left in the customer's area, exchange if requested separately. You can get to the front of the warehouses by truck. Big when working with a trailer, e.g. on a pallet. With a big trailer, it is not possible to tip directly in front of the warehouse. Firewood is usually ordered 3 times a year (February, October and November) for the Hälvälä training area. To the Räyskälä training area firewood is usually ordered once a year (August, September).
