• Description:
• The subject of the procurement is related to the procurement of the fastening materials (e.g. screws, nuts, bolts and plugs) necessary for the maintenance, repairs and small-scale construction of the University of Helsinki's properties, the work tools and timber required for their use framework arrangement. Procurement is divided into two parts: 1. Small hardware and accessories and 2. Lumber and accessories. Submitting two parallel offers is allowed (a new offer can be made as a copy based on an earlier offer). The provider must prepare to the fact that the offered products are set with the quality specifications identified in the tender, which the products must meet. The products must be suitable for professional use. In this procurement, the products are not evaluated based on samples or model pieces, but it is purely a price competition for products that meet the quality specifications. The selection criteria is overall economic affordability. Based on total points, the three (3) with the most points for each product basket will be selected as framework contract suppliers supplier. The procurement unit buys products from framework contract suppliers according to changing needs. Acquisitions can be both individual supplemental acquisitions and larger entities. Products are procured equally from framework contract suppliers. In each procurement, the content of the procurement and the most appropriate procurement method in terms of the smoothness of the work are taken into account on a case-by-case basis.
