- The Government Office (VNK) is responsible for the joint administration and service tasks of the Government and its ministries. The Government Office takes care of the translation and language services of all ministries for both national languages and other languages. In addition, VNK takes care of the needs of the Office of the Chancellor of Justicefrom my own Swedish translations. VNK is thus a significant buyer of translation services in Finland. VNK is bidding for a framework arrangement through which the majority of the Swedish and English translation and editing services needed by the ministries will be procured as purchase services. Framework systemly contains seven sections, four of which concern Swedish (sections 1−3 and 7) and three English (sections 4−6). The operating model of sub-areas 1−6 is the ranking of several suppliers. Suppliers are selected by sub-area. One supplier is selected for sub-area 7. The supplier can make an offerfrom one or more areas. However, the supplier may submit only one offer for the sub-area.
