• Kymijoen Ravintopalvelut Oy (later Procurement Unit) requests your offer for fresh bread and pastries according to the tender documents. The procurement contract is concluded with one bidder. The bidding is carried out [through an open procedure]. Competition the overall economic affordability is used as the selection basis and the best price-quality ratio as the comparison basis. More detailed information about the scoring and comparison criteria is presented in the section Criteria for the object of procurement in the request for tenders. If several bidders earns exactly the same number of points with its bid, the Procurement Unit draws a winner. Lottery is an accepted method in the jurisprudence of the Procurement Act. The procurement contract is initially valid for two (2) years on a fixed-term basis, starting on July 1, 2026, and after that the contract will continue valid for the time being. The procurement contract enters into force after the procurement decision becomes legally binding or when the market court grants the procurement decision an execution permit and after both contracting parties have signed a written procurement contract. The contract after the two-year deadline, the notice period is six (6) months for both contracting parties. With its offer, the tenderer commits to complying with all the additional information provided in the tender documents and possibly during the procurement procedure to the conditions. The procurement unit has the right to check the information provided by the bidder in its bid documents before making a procurement decision.
