• In the city of Karkkila, surveys regarding the service network have been carried out in recent years as part of balancing the economy and developing operations. Changes in the operating environment, economic boundary conditions and the development of service needs require a service network will also be examined in the future as a whole and based on up-to-date baseline data. The aim of the survey work aimed at the further development of the service network is to form a picture of the current state of the entire city's service structure, development needs and alternatives. The report examines the organization of services, the use of facilities and cost effects, as well as the anticipated development of population and service needs. The survey produces alternative development models to support decision-making and evaluates their economic and operational effects. Acquiring an external expert report ensures the independence of the work and sufficient expertise. The procurement of survey work is carried out in accordance with the city's procurement guidelines. To balance the city's finances On September 29, 2025, the city council approved the § 83 economic balancing plan for the years 2025 - 2030. The measures of the economic balancing program are evaluated and, if necessary, revised annually in connection with the processing of the financial statements.
