Description:
The object of the procurement is the transportation and processing of the municipal sewage sludge generated at the sewage treatment plants of the city of Kankaanpaa.
The service provider must process the sludge from the following sites:
- At the Kankaanpaa central wastewater treatment plant (Lahdekummuntie 12, 38700 Kankaanpaa)vattu sludge, which contains pre- and post-clarification sludges processed in the compaction plant and surplus sludge from the activated sludge process, as well as fine well sludges received at the facility. About 1700 tons of dried sludge (dry matter approx. 14%-19%) is produced per year.
- Honkajoki wastewater treatment plant (Kauppatie 15, 38950 Honkajoki) produced sludge dried with a filter belt press, which contains surplus sludge from the activated sludge process and post-clarification sludge treated in the compaction plant, as well as fine and closed well sludges received at the facility. The facility does not have pre-clarification. Dried sludgett (dry matter approx. 15%) is generated approximately 160-280 tons per year.
Sludge quantity estimates are not binding on the customer.
In addition to processing and final disposal, the procurement also includes sludge pallets, transportation of sludge pallets at treatment plants and transportation of sludge from wastewater treatment plants to treatment and transport of empty palletsus back to the treatment plants.
The Kankaanpaa treatment plant can accommodate 2 sludge pallets and the Honkajoki treatment plant 1 sludge pallet. A high sludge platform is not suitable for the Honkajoki treatment plant. Both treatment plants must always have at least one pallet delivered by the contractor on site so that sludge drying can continue...
