• Fintraffic Tie Oy is a part of the Fintraffic group, which has a related entity relationship with the Finnish government. This announcement is made by Liikenteenluaishtiö Fintraffic Oy, which is the group's parent company and owns 100% of its subsidiaries. The main task of Fintraffic Tie Oy is responsible for road traffic management on Finnish roads. The company's services include e.g. operative traffic management in road traffic centers, taking care of the technical systems of road tunnels and changing road signs, road weather systems and information technology and telecommunications services related to all of the above. The company offers a large amount of up-to-date traffic and situational information related to road traffic as open data. Fintraffic Tie Oy's sale is the previous transparency announcement was published on 2 May 2023, and no answers were received regarding the corresponding market-based activity by the deadline set in the announcement on 19 May 2023. According to Section 15 of the Procurement Act, the transparency notice is valid for three (3) years, not this one in the course of time, similar market-based activity has not come to our attention. According to the company's understanding, no new providers of road traffic control and management services have been established in the market in accordance with Chapter 15 of the Transport Services Act (320/2017).
