• REQUEST FOR REQUESTS Stara, the city of Helsinki's construction services company, requests your offer for the procurement of georeinforcement materials in accordance with this RFP. The procurement entity is Stara. The procurement will be used by the Department of Urban Infrastructure Construction small-scale procurement of material below the national threshold value. The object of procurement is georeinforcement delivered to Stara's work site. The work site, Ukonniity's preload embankment, is located in Malminkentä (former Malmi airport). order with one supplier. This procurement notice has been sent for publication on 19 May 2026 in the public procurement Tender service, through which the tender must be prepared and submitted. MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS The type of georeinforcement used is reinforcing fabric. Firmly the manufacturing material is polyester. The specific strength required according to the plans is shown as approx. 400 kN/m, when the design strength is 130 kN/m, and the specific strength is approx. 170 kN/m, when the design strength is 50 kN/m. The long-term tensile strength (design strength) will reach a maximum of 4% by stretching (standard tensile test SFS-EN ISO 10319) and the creep during use must not be a maximum of 1%. More detailed quality requirements in the attached Statement of Work.
