Description:
The Logistics Department of the Defense Forces (hereinafter the Procurement Unit) requests your offer for the procurement of Land Handling Services for the Defense Forces in accordance with this request for tenders and its attachments.n and personnel ground handling, as a rule, at Tampere-Pirkkala Airport. In addition, the subject of the procurement is the ground handling of defense material and personnel arriving and departing Finland.
Ground handling services refers to services performed between the landing and take-off of the aircraft.Arriving or departing aircraft can be passenger, cargo or military aircraft, the ground handling of which must be given a price specific to the aircraft type (see appendix 2). In addition, there are separately priced services such as de-icing, toilet and water service, which must be able to be produced if necessary. Aircargo and luggage must be unloaded or loaded on board and passengers must be able to offer services. The need and volume of the necessary services varies depending on the field.(e.g. special equipment related to handling), the Defense Forces uses its own equipment.
