• Description:
• Hämeenkyrö municipality's meal and cleaning services are requesting a quote for meal transport for schools and daycare centers. On the basis of this request for tenders, a contract will be made for meal transport for the period August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2028. Possibility of an option for 1 August 2028 -31 July 2029. Meals for schools and daycare centers are transported from the preparation kitchen of multi-purpose center Silla on weekdays to five (5) service kitchens on school and daycare days. Currently, the targets are Kyröskoski school, F. E. Sillanpää high school and joint school, Heinijärvi school and daycare center, Mahnala environmental school and Sas daycare center. The number of objects may vary during the contract period. The transports are handled by transport wagons and there are 2-3 transports on weekdays/week. In addition, there is also a need for thermal box transports 1-5 weekdays/week. Also, the number of required thermal box transports may vary during the contract period. The transport equipment used must comply with the regulations in force in food transport, emission classification class EU5 standard. It is the responsibility of the transport company and the driver that the transport equipment is clean and does not pose a hygiene risk to the food being transported. The service provider ensures that the transports are handled at the agreed times of the receiving destination to kitchen areas. The service provider is obliged to organize the transports he offers in the event of a disruption (e.g. a broken down car).
