• Description:
• The city of Raahe is requesting bids for the water roof repair contract at Harakkamäki school in accordance with the planning documents. The object is a one-story school building completed in 1987. The building is mainly in its original condition and its construction technical condition is good. The building has a concrete frame and the supporting structure of the upper floor is a hollow slab. The wooden support structures for the water roof made on site rest on the hollow slab. Part of the gymnasium has a water ceiling higher than the rest. The current water cover is concrete brick. The water roof has 3 lantern/tower-like structures leading natural light into the interior and several IV and ventilation openings. The upper part of the water roof is connected to the wall structure to a significant extent and there are several miters in the roof. The roof area is approx. 2460 m2. There have been several rainwater leaks in the building, which is why the Technical Center of the city of Raahe has decided to start a project to repair the water roof. During the repair work, the covering material is changed to either 1. machine seam sheet covering or 2. to the lock seam sheet metal cover. The repair contract includes demolition work of the old structure, renovation and cleaning work as well as installation and construction work of new structures in accordance with the contract program attached to the request for tender. The contract execution period is June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026. The bidder must familiarize himself with the site before submitting the bid, by May 8, 2026.
