- In the welfare area of Pohjois Savo, there are transports in accordance with the Health Care Act in the field of general services, both in basic services and in special services. Healthcare patient transport refers to transfers between treatment facilities, as well as the transport of patients in the treatment facility for research, proceduresidea and business visits, as well as evaluation visits preparing for repatriation. In patient transfer transports, stretcher, wheelchair and normal taxi transport are used. The contract period is valid from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, after which the contract period continues indefinitely.
