Description:
The Seinajoki Education Municipal Corporation is asking for your bids for the humanoid robot to be acquired for the new campus of Sedu Ahtari Tuomarniemi and for the related development project to enable a Finnish-language artificial intelligence-based speech dialogue with the robot in question. The goal of purchasing a humanoid robot is to pilot the use of a robot to support customer service in service industries, especially the tourism industry. The robot will offer Sedu, Ahtari high school and companies in the area the opportunity to get to know the most advanced service robotics, and its goal is to act, e.g. attraction at events and practice students to work with a robot in working life situations. The procurement is related to the EU-funded KETKO - Advanced technology and future learning environments investment project. KETKO development project. The Federation of Southern Ostrobothnia has approved the project for financing and granted support under the Just Transition Fund (JTF) for the development of regions and the European Union Regional and Structural Policy Projects Financing Act (757/2021). It is an investment project, where the beneficiary and main implementer is the Seinajoki educational municipality group. The goal of the project is e.g. invest in modern learning environments and new technology for vocational education and upper secondary schools.
