Description:
The object of the acquisition is test kits for immunoblotting diagnostics of nuclear antibodies. The immunoblotting technique is a sensitive, qualitative method for the typing of nuclear antibodies. The test kits offered must identify and differentiate the antibodies of these antigens.
Purchasedthere is also the equipment needed to analyze the test results, which is acquired on a cost-of-use basis.
The procurement involves HUS and its partners, for which the abbreviation "Procurement unit" or "Client" is used in the tender request. However, the determination according to this call for tenders is only done with HUS Diagin the clinical microbiology laboratories of nostiikkeskus in Helsinki.
The estimated annual consumption of test units is about 5,000 test units/year. Based on this, however, the procurement unit does not commit to any order quantities, but the orders are confirmed based on the procurement contract. Necessaryhowever, the operator must have the capacity to meet the annual consumption forecast.
The immunoblotting method is used in the diagnosis of systemic autoimmune diseases (including SLE, systemic sclerosis, Sjoegren's syndrome, mixed connective tissue disease), repeated miscarriages and neonatal lupus.
