• Improving the situation in the labor market through occupational transitions and skills development - a research project The Ministry of Labor and the Economy requests your offer. Improving the situation in the labor market through career transitions and skills development -implementation of the research project in accordance with this call for tenders and its appendices. The goal is to create and analyze follow-up data that tells about the development of the skills of the unemployed (and those working in declining fields) and changing fields. Acquisition the target is research using quantitative materials and methods, which forms: 1) Descriptive analysis: An overall picture of the skills development of the unemployed and those working in declining sectors and professions, its methods, services, about the distribution according to different background factors and about the targeting of skills development to labor demand sectors and professions where there is a shortage of skilled workers. The focus is especially on the long-term unemployed. 2) Impact analysis: Analysis of competence on the impact of development on the employment of the unemployed, especially in the case of job seekers who become unemployed or have a low level of education from sectors or professions with a declining or oversupply. The request for tender is aimed at strengthening the knowledge base on employment and skills development that promotes cooperation, especially during unemployment.
