Description:
The HUS group is requesting offers for cassette tests based on nucleic acid detection used for the rapid diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and B virus and RS virus, and the equipment needed to perform the tests for the clinical microbiology laboratories of the HUS Diagnostic Center, Helsinki, Kotka and Lappeenranta. The laboratories have Cepheid's Xpert(r) Xpress CoV-2/Flu/RSV plus test in use and are now acquiring a similar RT-PCR test from another manufacturer for additional capacity at peak times and to ensure the continuity of operations.
It is about acquiring a complete solution, ifIn addition to the device itself and its software, it is the responsibility of the chosen supplier to deliver all the accompanying reagents, equipment and small accessories needed to perform the tests. The supplier is also responsible for the maintenance of the equipment. Procurement is done on a cost-of-use basis, paying the supplierof ordered tests. For the sake of clarity, it is stated that HUS does not buy the equipment, but the ownership of the equipment remains with the supplier for the entire duration of the contract. The number of tests is divided between the three locations.
This is total procurement, i.e. getit is not divided into parts. As such, the procurement forms a purposeful entity.
The contract period of the procurement is for a fixed period of two (2) years, after which the contract will continue indefinitely.
