Description:
The city of Helsinki's urban environment department is preparing the purchase of 360-degree street view photos, a viewing and user platform, and an inventory of traffic signs, and is asking suppliers interested in implementing the purchase to sign up for the market dialogue and answer questions before this.in accordance with the notification. The procurement unit can
also ask the suppliers who have signed up for the market dialogue questions to clarify later and send preliminary drafts of the procurement documents for comment before the actual tender is published.
The field of urban environmenthas already had 360 street view materials and a platform solution for viewing and using them. 360 street view materials are used actively and widely in the city of Helsinki's urban environment industry and among its stakeholders (including Stara and Rescue Services). Different sorts ofuse cases have been identified, for example, in quality control tasks, in the planning of measures, and in the mapping and management of assets. It is estimated that there are approximately 600 people who view the platform and about 60 people who process the material.
The term of the current platform solutionthe current contract expires in December 2023. The goal of the city of Helsinki's urban environment department is to acquire the current street view materials and a replacement entity for the platform solution, which will probably include the following sections:
