• This notice is not a preliminary notice, a procurement notice or a request for tender, but a request for information/market dialogue to be implemented as part of the preparation of a future procurement. This information request does not ask for offers. The information presented in this announcement is preliminary and indicative. The goal of this request for information is to map the market in relation to the object of the acquisition and to obtain comprehensive information about the object of the acquisition so that the acquisition can be carried out in an appropriate manner. With this market mapping, VTT is looking for service providers to maintain the research and development infrastructure of automatic vehicles as well as for tasks supporting the manufacture, installation, electrical systems and measurements of vehicles. Research activities require automotive and vehicle technology knowledge, control of sensor operating principles, systematic measurement skills with modern tools and driving license to the motorcycle, for cars, trucks and buses. The operation also requires experience using machine tools and the ability to build fasteners and actuators for vehicles. The tasks require creativity in building prototypes without using ready-made drawings or wiring diagrams directly component data sheets. In addition, research is carried out in water transport, so a qualification to drive a registered boat is necessary.
