• With this request for information, the HUS corporation (hereinafter HUS) starts a market survey for a future acquisition. The aim of this advance announcement is to find suppliers operating in the field, to get information about the solutions available on the market, and to inform plans and requirements for future procurement. OBJECT OF PROCUREMENT The object of the acquisition is equipment and blood culture bottles intended for blood culture diagnostics. The goal is to get into use the most automated hardware set that is suitable for large patient sample volumes. The tenderer makes available to HUS the production capacity corresponding to the estimated sample quantity per location, including hardware, reagents, general supplies, necessary software and licenses, user training, maintenance and bug fixes. The equipment will be placed at the locations of the HUS Diagnostic Center: Espoo (Jorvi), Helsinki (Meilahti and Malmi), Hyvinkää, Kotka, Lappeenranta, Lohja, Porvoo and Vantaa (Peijas). The previous annual consumption of blood culture bottles has been approx 330,000 - 360,000 pcs.
