• This advance notice concerns the project of the City of Turku, Partial renovation and piling of the City Hall. This advance notice is a request for information about the planning areas of the project. The purpose of the advance notice is to survey the market and clarify issues related to the project, e.g. its general implementationdifficulty and bidders' interest in participating in the described procurement procedure. The implementation form of the project is planned to be a cooperative project management contract and the contracting and planning services will be procured as a consortium.

  PROJECT PRESENTATION:
  The Turku City Council has approved the project plan for the partial renovation of the City Hall on 24 October 2022, alreadyka is based on the needs assessment approved by Turku City Council on 16 September 2019 § 365. The project plan is currently being updated and will be discussed in the city council tentatively in April 2024.
  The building site is located in the core of Turku in the 1st block of the 7th district, alreadyka is also known as the Fortuna block, following the pattern of the 19th century. The area is bordered by Linnankatu on the northwest edge, Aurakatu on the northeast, and Laentinen Rantakatu and Aurajoki on the southeast.
