Our main area of ​​operation is the HUS group specialized hospital care and basic health care in the welfare areas belonging to HUS in Uusimaa. We are also responsible for the laboratory operations of the Kymenlaakso welfare area and the South Karelia welfare area. Nationwide, we are responsible for several special skills demanding studies and scientific research belonging to a university hospital. HUS DGK The functions of the area of ​​responsibility for clinical chemistry are located in Meilahti and in 9 other hospitals that are on duty around the clock. HUS DGK Clinical Chemistry Hospital laboratories in Lohja, Malmi, Porvoo and Kouvola (=Ratamokeskus) operate around the clock.
