Background and goal of the acquisition:
Kela's goal is to contract a servicelearning about the provision of information and code correspondences of the Medicines Database as a continuous service as referred to in the Act on Electronic Prescription of Medicines (61/2007) and the development of the Medicines Database.through changes in ideas, legislation or operating environment or international development.
Target:
Kela as a procurement unit is preparing a tender for the Pharmaceutical Database Service. The purpose of the request for information is to map service providers operating in the market who could offer Kela a Medicines Databasenna's information and code base correspondences needed by cross-border prescriptions as a continuous service, as well as services related to the development of the Medicines Database and code bases. The service provider uses different data sources to produce the information content of the Medicines Database (e.g. the Pharmaceutical Safety and Development Center(data produced by Fimea, the Pharmaceutical Price Board's Hila and Kela, as well as data reported by pharmaceutical companies).
